FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Process

  • My creative process usually begins with pencil sketches. I like to capture initial ideas spontaneously, letting my imagination run wild or drawing inspiration from the objects around me. Once the idea takes shape on paper, I move on to the digital phase, using Procreate or Illustrator to refine and finalize my illustrations. Occasionally, I also use gouache, watercolor or paint pencils.

Most of my sketches come to life in a sketchbook, but some on a napkin in a restaurant or on my daughter's drawing sheets! :-)

  • All my products are designed, printed and assembled in Montreal, Quebec.

  • - My products are great for my Quebec customers because they are not only designed here, but also printed and assembled in Montreal.

    - All products are printed on demand for a specific customer, so there are no leftovers, waste or overstock.

    - The papers used for stationery and wall art are acid-free. The manufacturing process is more environmentally friendly and makes the paper more resistant to yellowing and deterioration over time. The paper used for greeting cards and notebooks is FSC-certified.

    - My supplier's fabrics are printed using reactive inks. Reactive on-demand printing is a low-waste process. The washing machine used in the process recirculates water to reduce consumption. The sprayer typically uses less than 40 liters of water per production day.

-Employees at my supplier's production studio receive fair wages and work regular hours. Their breaks are paid and there are no unpaid internships.

I'm really interested in improving my production process on an environmental level. If you are or know of any suppliers who care about the environment and have innovative ideas for recycling, responsible production and good social practices, I'd love to hear from you! Write to me. :-)
